November 2012 update

Iată că avem și primele detalii legate de update-ul din noiembrie. De asemenea, se pare că ArenaNet vor să aibă release-uri majore lunar, deoarece și decembrie apare acolo în listă, alături de update-ul de Halloween din octombrie.

Ce mi se pare mai relevant ține de schimbările din WvW:

- Orbs of power have been removed from WvW to address hacking and balance issues. They tended to strengthen teams already in the lead and were irresistible targets for hackers and cheaters, both of which could have an unfortunately large impact on any given WvW game. Orbs or some similar mechanic may return in the future, but only if we’re confident that they won’t create similar issues.

Just my opinion:
- Nu comentez "atractivitatea" orb-urilor pentru hackeri, este discutabila aceasta afirmatie, desi respect punctul de vedere al ANet, consider ca orice hack confera un dezavantaj echipei care joaca fair, nu cred ca orbs au fost problema principala in materie de hacking in W3. Este ca si cum am scoate vreo 10-20 de obiective de pe harti intrucat constituie (in mod evident) o atractie fireasca pentru hackeri (water-gates & stuff). Nu vad cum se imbunatateste experienta de joc eliminand din content in loc sa adaugi content sau mecanisme de autoreglare a content-ului. Ramane de vazut cum va primi majoritatea jucatorilor aceasta decizie.
- Eliminarea lor poate nu este neaparat un avantaj, in sensul ca asa cum face ANet rationamentul "serverul cu populatie dubla in W3 capata practic bonusurile orb-urilor pentru that double population, ceea ce il face mult mai puternic el avand deja populatia dubla" putem adopta si rationamentul invers, adica "serverul cu populatia cea mai mica reuseste prin obtinerea orb-urilor sa ajunga la paritate fata de serverul cu populatie dubla, datorita bonusurilor date de orb-urile suplimentare capturate". Cum sa le captureze serverul cu populatie minoritara in W3? Simplu, cum am facut si noi pe Seafarer`s Rest de atatea ori, investind timp, energie. resursa umana si bani in cele mai importante zile de W3, prima si ultima zi (sambata dimineata si vineri seara).
- Astept cu mare interes efectele ultimelor modificari legate de stoparea potentialelor hacks in W3 si limitarea migratiei pe servere la "once a week", in sensul revenirii in W3 a multitudinii de jucatori care au fost initial dezamagiti de imposibilitatea culegerii rezultatelor eforturilor facute in W3, din cauza lipsurilor anterioare care acum au fost eliminate.

On Friday November 16th at noon PST (20:00 GMT) the weekend will kick off with an Event in Lion’s Arch that you don’t want to miss. This will trigger events in other parts of Tyria as well.

On Saturday November 17th at noon PST (20:00 GMT), another phase will kick in.

Each phase is triggered by a special event, but you will be able to enjoy additional content afterwards even if you cannot make the kick-off time. There is one exception:

The event will culminate in a big Finale on Sunday November 18, make sure you will not miss it. This will be a onetime only event chain that will run multiple hours, and it will kick off at noon PST (20:00 GMT). Again, this will only run once, so make sure you will be there! There will be plenty of content available to enjoy that will remain permanently in the world as a result of the outcome of this event on Sunday.

We will give you more details once we get closer to the event, but wanted to give you an early heads up so you can plan accordingly.

Cu wvw-u au facut f bine, sa repare securitatea la client intai , mai trebuie doar dezactivat mesmer portal

Oare cu update-ul din noiembrie o sa fie si acel update pentru ranger? Sunt foarte curios ce o sa faca... si mai exact ce o sa schimbe.
